Welcome to Arcmatic Welding Systems. We are an industrial manufacturing company located in Vallejo, California. We were founded in 2007 by William L Bong who has been perfecting the VertaSlag®  and the HD-SubArc+MP® Welding Methods since 1973.

Arcmatic Welding Systems provides the welding community with a faster and more competitive means of welding heavy plate. An operator, shop welding stiffeners into high-rise building columns, can weld two 1-1/2-inch thick stiffeners per shift. With VertaSlag, he can weld 25 stiffners per shift.
